Watch this Episode to know Mr. Uwe’s answers to the following questions:

  • RocketRoute started as an online simple use flight planning software, and then grow to become a “one-stop-shop” marketplace that provides pilots with everything to do with trip planning anywhere in the world. Was this the vision from the start of RocketRoute?
  • How did you start RocketRoute? What unfulfilled need did you see in the market that made you venture to set up another flight planning software?
  • How different is RocketRoute from the legacy flight planning providers that are there in the market? Universal Aviation, Jeppessen and PPS?
  •  What’s your experience with this business model in RocketRoute?
  • What’s the reaction of the market? Are operators using RocketRoute to source and purchase services?
  • Having co-founders is a double-edged sword: You didn’t start RocketRoute alone, but you had two co-founders. While having co-founders includes having someone on your side at the start, which is a very hard time in any startup life, besides making the startup more favorable for investment, at the same time, it includes relinquishing part of the equity and having to deal with someone who might not be a good fit. Do you recommend Aviapreneurs have a co-founder?
  • Software and Platforms are eating the world. How the aviation industry is similar to other industries in response to this technological disruption?
  • What’s your experience of raising funds for aviation startups?
  • what advice do you give the Aviapreneurs listening to us today?
